How to Change FaceTime Phone Number on iPhone
Your phone number and Apple ID become your FaceTime Caller ID on your iPhone. Here’s how to change your FaceTime Caller ID by changing your phone number. Ensure that your iPhone is connected to the internet and that you have already either physically inserted the new SIM card or used it as an e-SIM on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap on your profile name at the top.


Step 2: Select Sign In and Security.

Step 3: Tap on Edit next to Email and Phone Numbers.

Step 4: Tap on Add Email Or Phone Number and select Add Phone Number again to confirm.


Step 5: Enter your new phone number and tap on Next at the top-right corner.

Step 6: Enter the verification code sent to your new phone number.
Step 7: After your new number starts showing up, go back and select Messages in the Settings app.

Step 8: Tap on Send and Receive and select your new phone number.


How to Change FaceTime Phone Number on iPad
If you prefer using FaceTime on your iPad, here’s how you can choose another phone number for FaceTime.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPad.

Step 2: Tap on your profile name from the left menu and select Sign In and Security on the right side.

Step 3: Tap on Edit next to Email and Phone Number.

Step 4: Tap on ‘Add Email or Phone Number.’

Step 5: Select Add Phone Number again at the bottom to confirm.

Step 6: Enter your new phone number and tap on Next at the top-right corner.

Step 7: Enter the verification code sent to your new phone number.
Step 8: After your new number starts showing up, go back and select Messages in the Settings app.

How to Change FaceTime Phone Number on Mac
Your Mac also allows you to connect with contacts via FaceTime on a bigger screen. Here’s how you can change your FaceTime phone number using your Mac.
Step 1: Press Command + Spacebar keyboard shortcut to open Spotlight Search, type System Settings, and press Return.

Step 2: Click the profile name from the left menu and select Sign In and Security on the right side.

Step 3: Click the Plus icon below Email and Phone Numbers.

Step 4: Select Phone Number.

Step 5: Enter your phone number and click Next. Then you will be asked to enter the verification code sent to your new phone number.

Step 6: After your new phone number is verified, close the Settings window and open FaceTime on your Mac.

Step 7: Click on FaceTime at the top-left corner and select Settings.

Step 8: Select your new phone number for FaceTime.

Also, ensure that you have selected your new phone number for starting new calls from your Mac.
