Logitech Flow allows users to share a mouse or keyboard between different computers connected over the same Wi-Fi network. Typically, setting up and using Logitech Flow is a breeze. But if Logitech Flow isn’t working for you, we are here to help. Let’s check different ways to fix Logitech Flow not working on Windows or Mac.
Users face issues like Logitech Flow not finding other computers or not working between Mac and Windows. Whatever the problem with Logitech Flow, this post will eliminate them. Let’s begin. We have also covered how to fix Logitech Flow not working on keyboard at the end.
1. Check if You Have Supported Devices
Logitech Flow only works on Windows and macOS. You can use it between two Windows computers, 1 Mac and Windows, or two Mac devices. Furthermore, you should have Windows 10+ and macOS 10.15 for Logitech Flow to work properly.
And, of course, you should have a Logitech mouse that supports the Flow feature. Some of the Logitech Flow compatible devices include M590, M720 Triathlon, MX Master 3, MX Master 2S, MX Ergo, MX Anywhere 2S, and M585. If you meet all the requirements, move to the following fix.
2. Restart Devices
If you have supported devices, simply restart the two computers before trying other fixes. Also, restart your Wi-Fi modem. Sometimes, restarting is enough to fix the issue.
3. Enable Flow on Both Devices
For Logitech Flow to work, it must be enabled on both computers. Follow these steps to enable Flow:
Step 1: Open the Logi Options+ app on your first computer.
Step 2: Click on your mouse. If your mouse doesn’t show up, it’s not connected to the computer. Pair it with the computer first.
Step 3: Click on Flow from the left side and enable the toggle next to Flow at the top. If it’s already on, turn it off and enable it again.
4. Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network
One of the main requirements for Logitech Flow to work is that both devices should use the same Wi-Fi network connection. So, check the Wi-Fi network on both computers. Also, keep them on the same Wi-Fi channel as well, i.e., either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
5. Update the App
Logitech Flow often stops working due to a bug in the official app itself. You should check for an available update and install it as soon as possible. Open the Logitech app on your computer and click on the Settings icon followed by Check for updates.
6. Use a Unifying Receiver on One Device
Strangely, for many Logitech users for whom Logitech Flow was not working between Mac and Windows, using the unifying receiver on one computer and Bluetooth on another magically fixed the issue. Basically, do not connect both devices using Bluetooth.
7. Use Right Software
Logitech has two software – Logitech Options and a newer Logitech Options+. Ensure you are using the same app on both devices. Also, if you are using Logitech Options, install the Logi Options+ app. And if you are on Logi Options+, uninstall it and try installing the older Logitech Options app on both devices.
8. Change Wi-Fi to Private (Windows)
If Logitech Flow is not working on Windows, make your Wi-Fi network private. Typically, your home network should be private only, but it might have changed accidentally. Follow these steps to make the Wi-Fi network private on a Windows PC.
Step 1: Go to Settings, followed by Network & internet. Select Wi-Fi.
Step 2: Click on your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Select Private network under Network profile type.

9. Allow Logitech App in Firewall Settings (Windows)
Next, you must ensure that the Logitech app is allowed in the Firewall settings on your Windows PC. For that, follow these steps:
Step 1: Type Windows Security in Windows search. Click on it in the search results.
Step 2: Click on ‘Firewall & network protection’, then ‘Allow an app through firewall’.
Step 3: Click on Change Settings and find LogiOptionsMgr.EX or Log Options+ Agent and check the box on the left for Private and Public.
Step 4: Similarly, do the same on another computer if you are trying to use Logitech Flow between two Windows computers.
Step 5: Restart both computers.

10. Turn off VPN
Do you use a VPN on any of the two computers? Try turning it off and see if Logitech Flow starts functioning properly.
11. Install Set Point (Windows)
If Logitech Flow is not detecting other computers, you must install a tiny additional service called SetPoint from Logitech.
Step 1: Open the SetPoint page and click on the Download button.
Step 2: Follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your computer.
Step 3: Restart your computer and try using the Logitech Flow.
12. Reset Flow
Before we tell you to reinstall the app, you should reset Flow on both computers. Doing so will remove the computer from the Flow network, and you must connect to it again.
Step 1: Open the Logi Options app and select your mouse.
Step 2: Click on Flow, followed by More Settings at the top.
Step 3: Click on Reset.
13. Reinstall Logitech App
Finally, try reinstalling the Logitech app on both computers. For that, first, you will need to uninstall the app and then install it again. Reinstalling helps if a permission issue or an error occurs during the installation process.

14. Use the Mouse Without Borders App
If Logitech Flow still doesn’t work after following the above fixes, try using the Mouse without the Borders app from Microsoft instead of the Logitech app. However, please remember that this app only works on Windows computers. Other Solutions to Try:
- Disable any network bridge set up for your Virtual machine.
- Forget the currently connected Wi-Fi network and reconnect again.
- If Logi Flow keeps disconnecting, open the Logitech app. Then, open Task Manager (Windows) and kill the Logi Agent or Log Options Agent. Go back to the Logitech app, and you will see a note that says, “Agent is no longer running, do you want to start it?”. Select yes.
- Note that dragging files is not supported in Logitech Flow. You can only move them between computers using Copy and Paste.
Bonus Tip: Logitech Flow for Keyboard Not Working
If the Logitech Flow keyboard is not following the mouse or Flow is not working for the keyboard, try these fixes:
- Make sure you are using the Logitech Flow-compatible keyboard. These include MX keys, Ergo K860 wireless keyboard, K380, Logitech Craft, K375s, and K780.
- Connect your MacBook to slot 1 on your keyboard and Windows PC to slot 2. Then, enable Flow for the keyboard.
- Open the Logitech app and select your mouse. Then, click on Flow in the sidebar. Go to the More settings option at the top. Enable the Link Keyboard On option. This setting needs to be one for the keyboard to follow the mouse.
