1. Why are you seeing a subscribed calendar after unsubscribing it?

Ensure your iPhone has a proper internet connection and restart it after unsubscribing from the calendar. It should be gone.

2. Does removing a calendar delete all the events inside it as well?

No. The abovementioned six methods will hide or delete the calendar from your iPhone and will not affect the calendar events.

3. Why are you missing contacts on your iPhone after deleting the account from Calendar settings?

Deleting an account from the accounts page removes all the data associated with that account, i.e., Emails, Contacts, Calendars, Notes, etc. So, if you don’t want to lose all the other things, turn off the toggle for Calendar, and you should be good to go.
