Fix 1: Replace the HDMI Cable
Are you using an Android TV box/stick with your TV? You’ll need to closely check the HDMI cable that you use to connect the Android box to the TV. It’s possible that the existing cable is fried. We recommend picking up a high-quality HDMI cable to power your devices. That should fix the issue.
Fix 2: Use an Alternate Power Source
If your Android TV receives insufficient power, or if there are power fluctuations from the AC mains outlet, it may get stuck on the loading screen. Try connecting the TV’s adapter plug to a different socket and see if it boots. If you often face voltage fluctuations, it’s recommended to pick up a stabilizer to prevent such issues.
Fix 3: Replace the Power Adapter
Due to the abovementioned problem, the power adapter connected to either your TV or the Android TV box/stick may conk off, resulting in low/no power being delivered to the television. In such a case, head to an electronics store nearby and ask for a replacement adapter for your TV’s specific make.
Note: Every TV will have a different power requirement. Do not use adapters from a different TV interchangeably as it may lead to issues with the power circuit.
Fix 4: Connect to a Different Wi-Fi Network
Since most Android TVs rely on a stable internet connection, they may often get stuck on the losing screen when not connected to a network. So, if your Wi-Fi network is malfunctioning, or your TV is not connecting to your Wi-Fi router, try using an alternate network. You can even use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot to test it out.
Fix 5: Remove Connected Accessories
Did you connect a USB drive or SSD to your Android TV? Such accessories may mess up your Android TV functions. Disconnect the peripherals, boot your TV, and then connect the required accessories. Follow this sequence every time you turn on your TV.
Fix 6: Try Random Key Combinations
Most Android TVs have default key combinations that you can input via the remote to reset them. Try pressing the Power + Volume Down, Power + Volume Up, Power + OK, or similar key combos while pointing the remote at the TV. Let go of the keys when the TV restarts. If the mentioned combinations don’t work, try your own permutations and combinations and see if you get lucky!
Fix 7: Call for Help
If nothing works, your last resort is to visit the brand’s service center for a diagnosis of the problem. If there’s a software issue, the service center and reinstall the firmware. In case of a hardware failure, you may have to get some parts repaired or changed.
