FAQs About Google Search Bar on Home Screen
You cannot add the Google search bar to the dock i.e., the bottom of the screen on your iPhone. In the case of Android, some stock launchers like Pixel launcher have the Google search bar at the bottom only. You can also use third-party launcher apps like Nova and Lawnchair launcher.
Long-press the Google search bar widget on your Android or iPhone and drag it to the top of the screen. Please note that this feature might not be available in Pixel launcher.
Long-press the search widget and tap on the Remove button. If you don’t see the Remove button, drag the widget to the top or bottom of the screen until you see the Remove button. Leave the widget on the Remove button. Removing the search bar widget will not uninstall the Google app or delete any of your data.
First, make sure you have the Google app installed on your Android or iPhone. Also, check if it’s enabled on your Android phone. For that, go to Settings > Apps > Google. If you see the Enable button, tap on it. You should also try reinstalling the Google app on your phone.
