Just ensure you have installed the latest version of WhatsApp on your respective device. Follow the steps below:
On iPhone
Step 1: Update WhatsApp on your iPhone and open the app.
Step 2: Tap the Status icon in the bottom-left corner.

Step 3: Select Add To My Status.

Step 1: Update WhatsApp and open it on your Android phone.
Step 2: Select the Status tab.

Step 3: Tap the Plus icon to add your Status update.

Step 4: Record your video or select the video from the Photos app on your iPhone.
