Using the same feature, you can run dual WhatsApp accounts on your Samsung phone. A new WhatsApp app will be created on your phone. You will be notified about messages from each account separately. Here are the steps to use two WhatsApp accounts using Dual Messenger on Samsung.
Step 1: Install WhatsApp on your phone. Set up your first account.
Step 2: Open phone Settings and go to Advanced followed by Dual Messenger.
Step 3: Enable the toggle next to WhatsApp. A pop-up will appear confirming you about the installation of the second WhatsApp. Tap on Install.
Step 4: You will be asked if you want to use a separate contact list for the second WhatsApp. Turn on the toggle if the answer is yes and select the contacts. Otherwise, tap on Next. Wait for your phone to install the second copy of the app.
Step 5: Open the app drawer, and you will find the newly installed WhatsApp on your phone. The second WhatsApp will have the Dual Messenger symbol on them to differentiate between the two apps. Set up your account on the second WhatsApp, and you are good to go.
Method 2: Use WhatsApp Business
Another way to use dual WhatsApp accounts on the same phone is by installing the business version of WhatsApp. It’s a free app from the house of Facebook only, who owns WhatsApp as well. The business app works just like WhatsApp with additional features.
Designed essentially for business users, WhatsApp Business offers features like labels, catalogs, greeting messages, quick replies, etc. This method also makes it easy to use two WhatsApp accounts without putting any extra effort. Method 3: Use Third-Party Apps
Earlier, the native feature to use dual apps wasn’t supported by manufacturers. Some phones still do not offer the functionality. For such unsupported Samsung phones, third-party apps come to the rescue. If the above two methods do not suit your requirements, you can take help of this method. Troubleshoot: WhatApp Contacts Not Showing Up
When some users run two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone, the contacts do not show up in one of the accounts. To fix that, you need to open WhatsApp and tap on the floating new message icon at the bottom.
You will be taken to your contacts list. Tap on the three-dot icon at the top-right corner and select Refresh. Now check again, and your contacts would show up. If that doesn’t fix it, restart your Samsung phone.
