A major reason for getting the ‘This page or content isn’t available right now’ error on Instagram is that the page link is incorrect. This can happen if you’re manually typing the link URL.

Additionally, if the user who posted the link is not available, it will also make the link unavailable. This is also the case if Instagram is experiencing server outages or the link’s owner has blocked you. Here’re 8 ways to fix this issue.

1. Double-Check the Link

Some users prefer to just manually type the link instead of going through the whole process of copying the text from the Instagram post. However, this gives way to mistakes in the link address.

To ensure this is not the case, double-check the link and see to it that the spelling is correct. Then, try opening the link again. If you still get the “Sorry this page isn’t available right now” error, move on to the next fix.

2. Check if Instagram Is Down

If you frequently see the ‘Content unavailable’ error on Instagram, despite the correct link address, it might be because Instagram is down. If Instagram’s servers aren’t working as expected, they will prevent normal Instagram functions, like opening links, from working properly.

5. Check if the User Is Active

6. Confirm You’re Not Blocked

Like every other social media platform, you can block someone on Instagram. This means that if someone has blocked you on Instagram, you can no longer view any of their posts or stories.

7. Force Close and Restart Instagram

Step 1: Depending on your device, double-press the home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
