6 Best Fixes for Telegram Not Syncing Contacts on iPhone and Android

1. Enable Contact Sync in Telegram App

If Telegram fails to sync contacts, you’ll need to enable the contact syncing feature in the app on your iPhone or Android. This feature is enabled by default. But you can still check and manually enable it.

Step 1: Open Telegram on your iPhone or Android.

2. Enable Contact Access for Telegram

The Telegram app should be allowed to access your contacts to sync them and show them in the app. So the next solution, if your newly added contacts are not showing in Telegram, is to enable contact syncing.

4. Force Quit and Relaunch Telegram

On iPhone

Step 1: On the home screen of your iPhone, swipe up and hold to reveal the background app windows.

Step 2: Look for the Telegram app and swipe up to remove it.
