Fix 1: Re-Add Your Profile Photo in Contacts and Apple ID Settings

If your iPhone fails to show your profile picture, you can update it by re-adding it in native iOS applications such as Contacts and Apple ID settings.

Step 1: Open the Contacts app and select your contact card below the search bar.

Step 2: Tap Edit at the top right corner > select Add Photo.

Step 3: Select Photos > pick and reposition your desired photo, and tap Done at the top right to save changes.

Step 4: Next, select Continue > tap Done at the top right to apply the profile picture to your contact.

Step 5: Finally, open the Settings app > select your Apple ID > and tap the account image.

Step 6: Select Photos > pick and reposition your preferred photo > tap Done at the top right to apply changes.

Existing issues with the Name and Photo Sharing feature of the Messages app may cause difficulties in viewing your profile picture. Disable and enable the feature manually to refresh it.

Step 1: Open iPhone settings > select Messages > tap Share Name and Photo.

Step 2: Toggle off Name & Photo Sharing > wait a few seconds > turn it back on.

Fix 3: Reset Network Settings

Lastly, reset all network settings on your iPhone to delete incorrect network configurations that can cause issues fetching your profile picture from Apple servers.

Step 1: Select General under iPhone settings > tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Step 2: Tap Reset > select Reset Network Settings. When prompted, enter your device passcode to confirm the action.
