Common Fixes
- Check your network connection: Ensure your iPhone/iPad has a good internet connection. I recommend an internet speed of at least 5 Mbps to stream content on Disney+.
- Check Disney+ servers: Visit Downdetector to check an active Disney+ server outage.
- Force restart your iPhone/iPad: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button followed by Volume Down. Press and hold the Side button (Top button on iPad) and release it when the Apple logo shows up.
- Verify your Disney+ subscription: Open the My Space tab in the Disney+ app and tap Help and Settings at the top right corner. Select Account Settings to view your subscription status.
- Disconnect VPN: Open your VPN app and tap Disconnect to disable the active connection. Reopen the Disney+ app to resume streaming its content.
- Update iOS/iPadOS: Open the Settings app, select General, and tap Software Update. Tap Update Now (if available) to update your iPhone or iPad.
Fix 1: Log Out From All Devices
Disney+ premium plan subscribers can stream its content on four devices concurrently. If you’ve exceeded the limit, log out from other signed-in devices to fix Disney+ not working on your iPhone/iPad.
Step 1: Open the Disney+ app, select the My Space tab from the bottom right corner, and tap Help & Settings.
Step 2: Select Account Settings and review the list of signed-in devices under the Other Devices section.

Step 3: Tap Log Out next to a linked device to remove it from your Disney+ account. Confirm by selecting Log Out when prompted. Repeat the step to remove all logged-in devices.

Fix 2: Update or Reinstall the Disney+ App
Disney+ may fail to work on your device if its app components are corrupt or obsolete. Update or reinstall the app on your iPhone/iPad to resume streaming its content.
Step 1: Open the Apple App Store, search Disney+, and tap Update (if available).
Step 2: Alternatively, long-tap the Disney+ app icon and select Remove App. Tap Delete App when prompted to remove and install it afresh from the Apple App Store.

Fix 3: Change Your Device Country/Region
Disney+ is available in over 60 countries. If it is unavailable in your region, switch your device’s country/region to regain access to the app.
Step 1: Open iPhone Settings, select your Apple account banner, and tap Media & Purchases.

Step 2: Tap View Account and select Country/Region.

Step 3: Select Change Country or Region and pick your desired country/region.

Step 4: Tap Agree at the top right corner and provide the required billing details to finalize and switch it.

Resolve Common Disney + Errors
In some cases, the Disney+ app may display an error code on your device. You can easily identify the issue by checking these common error codes:
- Error Code 24 or 43: It indicates an unstable internet connection. Restart your router or switch to a faster Wi-Fi network.
- Error Code 73: This error shows up when you access Disney+ in an unavailable location via VPN.
- Error Code 83: It indicates that Disney+ detects an incompatible device. Reinstall the app and try again.
