Method 1: Use the Run Dialog to Open Disk Management
Disk Management comes in handy to perform advanced storage tasks like managing existing drives or initializing a new one. You can quickly open it using the Run dialog.
Press the Windows + R shortcut to open the Run dialog, type diskmgmt.msc, and press Enter.

Method 2: Open Disk Management From the Task Manager
Besides the Run dialog, the Task Manager app offers an easy alternative to open the Disk Management utility on Windows 11.
Step 1: Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc shortcut to open the Task Manager, and click Run new task at the top right.
Step 2: Type diskmgmt.msc in the text field and press Enter to open the Disk Management utility tool.

Method 3: Utilize Computer Management to Open Disk Management
The Computer Management utility is a bouquet of administrative tools such as Event Viewer, Task Scheduler, Device Manager, etc. You can utilize it to open Disk Management on Windows 11.
Step 1: Press the Windows key > search Computer Management > click to open it.

Step 2: Select Disk Management under Storage to view all partitions and removable drives on your PC.

Method 4: Open Disk Management From the Command Line
Lastly, if you prefer to go old-school, you can access Disk Management via command line tools such as Command Prompt and Windows PowerShell.
Step 1: Press the Windows key > search Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell > click Run as administrator.

Step 2: Type diskmgmt.msc in the console and press Enter to open the Disk Management tool.
