Preliminary Fixes

Fix 1: Check Your Blocked Numbers List
This trick has worked wonders for several Instagram users. You or your phone system may have blocked the 32665 number to prevent spam on your device. Sometimes, Instagram uses the 32665 number to send a security code on your phone. You should check the blocked numbers list and unlock 32665.
On iPhone
Step 1: Open Settings on your iPhone and scroll to Messages.
Step 2: Tap Blocked Contacts and find 32665 from the list.
Step 3: Swipe left on it and select Delete.
On Android
Step 1: Launch the Phone app and tap the three-dot menu at the top. Select Settings.
Step 2: Scroll to Blocked numbers.
Step 3: Tap the x mark beside the 32665 number.
Open Instagram and request a new code from the company. You shall receive a new authentication code now.
Fix 2: Use Instagram Web
You can temporarily move to the Instagram web and try signing into your account. Maybe, Instagram doesn’t raise any eyebrows and lets you browse the feed again.
Move to the desktop and visit the Instagram web to check the latest updates.
Fix 3: Reinstall Instagram
Many have managed to regain their Instagram account by following this trick. Here, you need to delete the app on your phone and wait for at least 24 hours.
On iPhone
Step 1: Long-tap on the Instagram app icon and select Remove App.
Step 2: Tap Delete App and you are good to go.
On Android
Step 1: Long-tap on Instagram and open the app info menu.
Step 2: Tap Uninstall.
Now, wait for 24 hours and download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Fix 4: Contact Instagram Support
If none of the tricks are working to fix Instagram not sending confirmation code issue, you have no option but to contact Instagram support to resolve the problem.
Visit Instagram’s contact us page and raise your issue.
You should also recheck your Instagram account’s added mobile number and email address. If you don’t use or access your Instagram account for 90 days, the company may flag and delete it completely.

I can’t get back into my Instagram and everytime I try to send code to my email it’s not coming to my email and the number they have available to send code to is an old number that I no longer have access to and I’ve been change that number but it’s still showing up for me to send a code to that number
I get the emails to verify account, but when I log into Instragram it states its sending code to my phone, but I don’t get it. Also none of the backup codes seems to work.

Your first brilliant suggestion was the solution for me. After days of struggling to get into my Instagram account after acquiring a new computer, I was at my wit’s end. Sure enough, when I checked I had blocked the 32665 number.
