2. Check Phone App Notification Settings

Step 1: Open Settings on your iPhone and go Notifications.

3. Check Incoming Calls Setting

With iOS 14, Apple introduced the much-awaited feature of the condensed call screen. Earlier, when you received a call, it would occupy the entire screen taking you away from the app you were using. With iOS 14, you can enable Banner style notification where the incoming call will appear as a notification banner like any other notification when unlocked.

So if you want incoming calls to appear in full-screen, you need to turn off the Banner display style. For that, visit Settings > Phone > Incoming Calls. Select Full screen. If Full screen is already selected, pick Banner and then choose Full screen again. Restart phone.

4. Update Phone Software

Often, there is a bug in the software, and the latest update should get it fixed. Start by updating all apps on your iPhone from App Store. Then go to Settings > General > Software update. See if a software update is available for your iPhone. Install it if available and restart your iPhone.
