How to Disable Private Browsing in Safari on iPhone

  • Private Browsing Mode in Safari does not record your browser history and activity.
  • Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content Privacy & Restrictions > Store, Web Content and Siri > Web and select Limit Adult Websites.

Limiting adult websites inside the Content Restrictions menu disables the Private Browsing Mode in Safari. These settings are protected by your screen time passcode, and cannot be modified without any authentication.

Step 1: Open Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Store, Web, Siri & Game Center Content.

Step 2: Tap on Web Content, and select Limit Adult Websites.
