The Pixel 8 series brings significantly improved displays, cameras, software support, and more. However, it still uses the same glass back as its predecessor, which is prone to scratches and accidental damage. Getting a protective case can solve your problem. You can also go for a wallet case and remove a physical wallet from your EDC (Everyday Carry) list. Here are the best Pixel 8 Pro wallet cases.
A wallet case not only protects your expensive device but also offers a much-needed convenience to carry your essentials. With dozens of capable options available in the market, picking up a case with a cardholder can be challenging at times. Allow us to simplify the purchase decision for you.

1. Hongxinyu Case With Card Holder
The magnetic wallet has four slots to carry your go-to credit cards and a couple of dollar bills. It’s a detachable wallet, which means you can always remove it if you don’t want an added bulk on the back.
One of the buyers has pointed out a weak magnetic connection on the back. As such, you may face issues with securely locking your MagSafe accessories on the back. On the upside, the case comes in several color options – Black, Pink, Brown, Red, and Blue. Correspondingly, you can pick one that complements your style.

2. Kowauri Leather Wallet Case
The Kowauri wallet case doesn’t offer a detachable solution. Instead, it ships with a slot on the back that can hold a couple of cards. It’s made of PU leather and TPU materials on the sides to protect your Pixel 8 Pro from accidental damage.
Notably, due to its ultra-thin profile, the leather wallet case is compatible with wireless charging. The company also claims shockproof protection but doesn’t back it up with any official rating. To no one’s surprise, buyers have left positive reviews regarding the astute fit and finish of the case.

3. HAII Protective Case
HAII’s protective case is one of the best wallet cases for Pixel 8 Pro. To that end, the company didn’t simply add a wallet slot on the back and call it a day. Instead, they also added a built-in strap with a kickstand to level up your Pixel 8 Pro experience significantly. The hollow design is another neat touch for faster and more convenient card access.
The protective case has raised protection around the display to shield your phone’s display from micro scratches in daily use. The case is available in three color options to pick from. As expected, it doesn’t support the top wireless charges for Pixel 8 Pro.

4. Encased Magnetic Wallet Case
The Encased wallet case sports a hybrid construction that combines a TPU protective bumper and a scratch-resistant PC back. It offers ample drop protection and a rubberized finish for a better grip. The matching magnetic TPU wallet has a neat dotted design and holds up to four cards easily. It should work as expected on a bumpy road ride as well.
We aren’t surprised to see raving reviews for the case’s pristine grip, secure fit, and its stylish magnetic wallet. We also like how the case completely covers the camera bar and the flash module.

5. Teelevo Case With Card Holder
Do you regularly attend video calls or stream sports/entertainment content on your Pixel 8 Pro? Look no further and get a Teelevo wallet case on the list. Unlike other wallet cases, this one has a hidden compartment to store up to two cards.
The case is made of a dual-layered PC back and TPU cover to protect your Pixel 8 Pro against hard falls. It also has precise cutouts and features raised lips to protect the display and camera bar. The case is quite bulky, though. The company is tight-lipped on wireless charging support. So, don’t keep your hopes high for charging your Pixel 8 Pro wirelessly.

6. VRS Design Hybrid Phone Case
Similar to Teelevo, this one also comes with a hidden card slot. The overall integration is much better, though, with VRS’ offering sporting a robust and smooth sliding mechanism on the back. The back sliding panel also houses a kickstand for a convenient media streaming experience.
The entire case is thick enough to flush the camera bar completely. As expected, it doesn’t support wireless charging. Users have left positive reviews for solid grip, protection, and excellent tactile feedback when pressing buttons. The case also has unique looks, and it will undoubtedly turn heads during company meetings. VRS Design sells the case in two attractive colors.

Remove Wallet From Your Everyday Carry List
Due to a dedicated kickstand and card slot, VRS Design remains our best Pixel 8 Pro wallet case on the list. However, the added bulk can be discomforting for some. If you want a slim wallet case, go with a Kowauri or Encased wallet case. Apart from your Pixel 8 Pro, you should also shield the camera bar with the top protectors.
As we mentioned in our Pixel 8 Pro review, the latest flagship from Google offers an all-day battery life. That said, you should get a fast charger to juice your device in quickly in tricky situations.
