When it comes to TVs, bigger isn’t always better. While a sizeable screen delivers an immersive experience, it may not be ideal for a small apartment with a tight workspace and kitchen. As such, a 24-inch TV strikes the perfect balance between affordability and practicality in a small space. We’ve shortlisted some of the best 24-inch smart TVs below, so take a gander.
When buying a new TV, you should factor in the type of display, operating system, ports, and viewing distance. You can use a 24-inch TV for your streaming needs and even hook it up to a PC to get some work done.
Before we start, do go through our existing posts on smart TVs.

2. VIZIO D-Series 24-inch 1080p Smart TV
- Panel type: LED
- Display resolution: 1080p
- Operating system: VIZIO SmartCast
- HDMI inputs: 2
Usually, you don’t see a 24-inch smart TV with a full array of LED backlighting. VIZIO D-Series is an exception here, and it gets an even distribution of LEDs across the screen to deliver superior picture quality. That, coupled with a custom IQ picture processor allows the TV to overturn vivid colors.
VIZIO’s contender also supports the company’s V-Gaming Engine, which reduces latency when playing games on the set. The TV is also compliant with AMD’s FreeSync tech. While users have left positive reviews for picture quality and connectivity options, some weren’t impressed with a below-average build quality.

Westinghouse TV’s USP remains Roku OS. It’s a leading streaming platform in the US and offers thousands of streaming apps catered around news, sports, and entertainment content. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit devices. Needless to say, the TV can double up as a hub to manage all your smart home devices.
As expected, Westinghouse comes with Apple AirPlay 2 support. You can use the supplied remote or Roku mobile app to navigate the system. The connectivity options check out, too, with three HDMI and one optical port. While it’s a feature-rich option from the company, many did raise concerns about poor speaker quality and a low-resolution HD display for price. Â

4. LG Smart TV For Kitchen
- Panel type: LED
- Display resolution: 720p
- Operating system: webOS
- HDMI inputs: 2
LG offers a versatile solution for your entertainment, gaming, and work needs. The company’s 24-inch TV can act as a monitor and TV as per your preference. As for the on-demand content, webOS packs in all the relevant apps and services to check top recommendations on the weekend. It can be an ideal TV for your kitchen to monitor your little ones and surroundings.
You can create separate accounts for every household member and explore the unit’s Cinema Mode, which optimizes the picture quality of the set when it’s used in a dark room. For the asking price, we would have preferred a Full HD panel. To that end, the TV’s HD panel isn’t future-proof and leaves something to be desired.
