Method 1: Getting Extensions Straight From the Chrome Store
You may install extensions straight from the Chrome Store after installing Microsoft Edge on your computer. This is because Edge is a Chromium browser, just like Google Chrome. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Edge > click on the three-dot button at the top right corner > select Extensions.

Step 2: Click on Manage Extensions.

Step 3: Click Chrome Web Store at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Search for your preferred extension > click on it > click Get extension.

Step 5: Click the Allow button, and the extension should be installed on your Edge browser.

You may follow a few steps if you have difficulty opening Edge.
Method 2: Importing Extensions From Chrome Browser
Alternatively, you may also import extensions you already have on a Chrome browser. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Edge > click on the three-dot button at the top right > select Extensions.

Step 2: Click on Manage Extensions.

Step 3: On the left pane, toggle on Developer Mode.

Step 4: To locate the directory where your extensions are installed, open a new tab in Chrome > enter the path below > hit Enter.
chrome://version
Step 5: Copy the path under Profile Path.

Step 6: Return to Edge and click on Load unpacked in the Extension settings.

Step 7: Type the Profile Path in the address bar, hit Enter, and double-click the Extension folder.

Step 8: Double-click the extension you want > click the first folder it contains > click Select Folder.

That’s all. However, since the folder does not have names, identifying your extension is confusing. Follow the steps below to find folder IDs that belong to different extensions.
Step 1: Launch Chrome.
Step 2: Paste the URL below into your address bar > hit Enter > toggle on Developer mode switch.
chrome://extensions/

Now, you may see the ID of each extension written under it, and you can use this to locate the extension you want to import into Edge.
