Fixes for Silent Button Not Working on iPhone

How to Turn off/on Silent Mode Without Switch on iPhone
Method 1: Enable Silent Mode From Settings
Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on Sound & Haptics.
Step 2: You will see a slider for volume control. Drag it all the way to the left to mute your iPhone.
Method 2: Use AssistiveTouch
You can use AssistiveTouch to mute or unmute without using the side switch.
Step 1: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch.
Step 2: Turn on the toggle and select Customize Top Level Menu.
Step 3: Tap on one of the existing buttons to replace it with the Mute/Unmute button, then select Mute from the list.
When you use AssistiveTouch, you can use the Mute button to mute/unmute your iPhone.
Method 3: Use Back Tap
Back Tap triggers a selected action when you tap the back of your iPhone twice or thrice.
Step 1: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap.
Step 2: Select Double Tap or Triple Tap, and then select the Mute option from the list.
When you tap the back of your iPhone twice or thrice, you can mute or unmute your iPhone.
