The WOLFBOX G840S features a Sony IMX335 Sensor, which paves the way for clear and detailed videos. The same can be said for nighttime videos, too. If anything, the device cannot overturn 4K clips, and you will have to contend with Full HD videos from the rear camera. Again, the installation process is manageable, and you should be able to do so in less than an hour.

The Vantrue M2 works on the same principle as the WOLFBOX G840S dash cam. Here, too, the mirror doubles up as a touchscreen when needed. And when you engage the reverse gear, it acts as a reverse camera. Interestingly, the touchscreen also displays guidelines to help you easily reverse the car.
The M2’s 1440p resolution and HDR support ensure you can see recorded footage in all its glory. The video quality is crisp, with essential details like license plate numbers superbly visible. The installation is easy and straightforward. It’s worth noting that the front camera charges via a mini-USB port, while the dash cam is powered via the 12V lighter socket (and not through the USB port).

AUTO-VOX V5PRO: Best Full Replacement Rear View
The Auto-Vox V5 Pro mirror dash cam is a little more expensive than its peers above. It’s a complete replacement for your car’s rearview mirror and connects directly to your car’s fuse box. It also has a decent set of features, including a rear-facing camera, dedicated GPS antenna, and continuous recording.
The latter means that the Auto-Vox mirror dash cam doubles as an excellent parking camera. The video quality is excellent, and the 1080p footage is void of pixelation and blurry effects. However, the dash cam’s night vision works best when some external light assists it. Note that this Auto-Vox dash cam doesn’t come with an SD card, and you will have to source one yourself.
