5 Ways to Jump to Cell A1 in MS Excel Real Quick

Method 1: Using Keyboard Shortcuts

One of the easiest ways to return to the A1 cell is to use keyboard shortcuts. To do so, open the needed worksheet tab and press Ctrl + Home.

However, note that this option will not work if you have activated freeze panes on rows and columns. In such a scenario, it will take you to the first row, the first column after the freeze panes.

Method 2: Using the Arrow or Direction Keys

Using the arrow or direction key to navigate to A1 may not be practical for large files, but it is ideal for smaller documents. You must press the Up, Down, and Side arrows, or a mixture of them until you get to your A1 call.

Method 3: Using the Mouse

The mouse is another straightforward way of getting to A1. For this method, you only have to scroll to the top of the Excel sheet and click the A1 cell.
