Only this time, instead of the rich heiress, the movie goes back seven years to a point when Lara plays the role of a bike-courier who just starts toying with the idea of solving the mystery of her father’s disappearance.

Did you know that Lara Croft made her debut in 1996? This means that this adrenaline-loving character has been with us for around 22 years.
When the game was in development, the team had decided on a character from Amazon and was apparently named as Laura Cruz. However, as the game was meant for a UK audience, the name was later changed to Lara Croft.
