Gaming is fun, but some games can be tough. From Software is known to deliver such tough and demanding games. The latest from the developer is the new action-adventure game called Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game environment is set in 16th Century Sengoku period.
You get to play Wolf, a Shinobi or Ninja who is out to rescue his young lord, Kuro. Wolf also has a Shinobi Prosthetic left arm that acts as a grappling hook. The sooner you grasp the fundamentals of the combat, the quicker you’ll be able to advance in the game.
Sekiro emphasizes on maintaining a guard and breaking guard of the enemies. So you’ll have to play offense as well as defense smartly. It’s not your average hack-and-slash rampage-driven gameplay.
While most of the levels in the game feature a warm tone, you can expect night sequences occasionally. Here are the top wallpapers from the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game.
1. The Big Bad Wolf
The protagonist of the game is a Shinobi aka a ninja named Wolf. After losing his left arm while attempting to prevent the abduction of his young lord, Wolf’s mission is to get him back alive. The prosthetic left arm can act as a Swiss Army Knife – a grappling hook, swords, shields, and axes.
2. Mesmerizing Summer
This fan art depicting the era of the Sengoku period in the 16th century is indeed mesmerizing. The crimson and orange leaves on the trees and the Wolf staring at his path do look quite cinematic.
3. Up, up and Away
The Shinobi Prosthetic arm of the Wolf is most likely will be usable as a grappling hook to jump between structures. That reminds me of Rico Rodriguez from Just Cause 3 and Cole MacGrath from InFAMOUS 2.
4. Axe Gon Give It to Ya
The game offers you several grueling fights and a variety of weapons to beat some of the most horrifying and robust bosses. Of course, you’ll need to focus on your posture, balance, and defense along with your offense to defeat every enemy.
5. The Nightcrawler
Whether it’s a harsh day or rainy night, the Wolf is relentless and sticks to his mission. Basically, he’s out to find his young lord, Kuro no matter the weather or location.
6. And the Sparks Keep Flying
At times the swords and axes aren’t enough to decapitate the enemy. Wolf gets to use a lot of tricks from his bag. One of those tricks is the Long Spark using his prosthetic hand.
7. Into The Night
Even the nights are challenging in the game, especially when you’re supposed to take Emma safely. Of course, the knowledge of medicine from Emma wouldn’t be like a general lesson without a fight.
8. The Big Fight
Wolf must face several bosses before meeting the final boss. And every boss is difficult. And you’ll get to fight at several locations. However, rarely you’ll find any of those spots giving you a surprise.
9. White as the Snow
It’s impossible to miss out on the snow terrain in a game these days. Even Sekiro has one such level. Take a look at this fantastic shot where Wolf is standing on a large branch and inspecting his path through the snow-glazed cliffs.
10. Enter the Dragon
The amazing still of Wolf approaching the entrance of burning structure is spectacular. You can easily keep it is a kickass wallpaper with icons distributed on each side of the Wolf.
11. Fire Fight
One of my favorite from this list is this shot of the Wolf walking out of the water towards a burning structure. And it’s raining too. The details of the fire, night, trees, water, and the Wolf make it a fantastic wallpaper. At least for my monitor.
Die Another Day
If you aren’t ready for the hardcore Dark Souls and Bloodborne games, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the one for you. Jokes apart, Sekiro is one of the best looking games is quite difficult if you are used to the gameplay instructions to beat the boss. You must embark a journey with Wolf to hone his skills and abilities to achieve the ultimate goal.
From stealth kills to crazy tough battles, you will get the real sense of accomplishment after every combat. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
