Microsoft’s Windows 10 is quite customizable as per your usage and requirements. There are over 1.3 billion Windows 10 users, including the ones coming from macOS or Chrome OS. 1. Native Windows 10 Option
Using this trick, you can manually move app icons in the middle of the taskbar. Here’s what you need to do.
Using the native taskbar settings, one can easily move the app icons in the middle. You need to make sure that the taskbar is not locked in your system.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Hover the mouse pointer on the taskbar and right-click on it.
Step 2: Disable Lock the taskbar option.
Step 3: Right-click on the taskbar again and open the same menu.
Step 4: Go to Toolbars and enable Links from the following menu.
Step 5: You will see the Links option appearing at the bottom.
Step 6: Drag it to the left side of the taskbar and you will notice app icons sliding to the right side.
Step 7: Use the three-line indicator beside the app icons and drag them to the middle.
That’s it. You have successfully moved app icons in the center in the taskbar in Windows 10. From now on, you can simply drag and drop new apps from the desktop to the taskbar.
Now go ahead and lock the taskbar from the taskbar settings menu.

Using a third-party app, one can have more controls over the app icons position in Windows 10.
