The Jaegers mechs are back and this time, they are back with a vengeance. The Pacific Rim Uprising picks up the Jaeger trail 10 years after the most epic battle fought in the history of humankind. Well, at least on the silver screen.
A new Jaeger program has been implemented as one of Earth’s major defense forces, which means that every pilot must prepare for the fight of their lifetime. Only this time, the battles will be more grand, magnificent, and undoubtedly more brutal.
For the fans, it'll be a treat to watch the Mechs fighting the monstrous Kaijus, and more importantly, the virtual effects that go with it.
I'm sure you’re waiting for this movie to hit the silver screens. Until you get your hands on it, how about grabbing a cool set of wallpapers from the movie?
The new-age Jaeger pilots have been groomed to take on the evil Kaijus. Did you know that Striker Eureka is known to be the strongest and fastest Jaeger? On the contrary, Cherno Alpha from Russia’s is the least advanced.
But, in the cinematic universe, the most brutal of all Jaeger mechs is the Gypsy Avenger, followed by the Bracer Phoenix, Titan Redeemer, Saber Athena and Guardian Bravo.
The crew is joined by actor Scot Eastwood, who will be playing Nathan Lambert, a world-class Jaeger pilot. In fact, he is considered by many as one of the best pilots in the Pan Pacific Defense Corps (PPDC).
Kaijus have glowing incandescent blood known as kaiju blue. This blood is extremely toxic and can poison anything it touches. That's the reason Kaijus are killed using blunt force, and not by sharp weapons.
The first Kaiju, the Trespasser, is believed to have appeared in 2013 in San Francisco.
