• Your Snapchat account should be over 24 hours old.
• You must have at least one bi-directional friend, which means you both must have accepted each other.

How to Get a Public Profile on Snapchat App

Getting a Public Profile on Snapchat is straightforward. Follow the steps below. 

Step 1: Launch the Snapchat app on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: Navigate to your profile by tapping your Bitmoji in the top left corner.

Step 3: Under your Snapchat profile, scroll down and tap ‘Create Public Profile.’ In the ‘Create Public Profile’ screen, tap Continue.

Step 4: On the next screen, choose Get Started. You will see a ‘Create Public Profile’ pop-up; finally, tap Create.

How to Set Up a Snapchat Public Profile

Step 1: Open the Snapchat app and tap your Bitmoji in the top left corner to view your profile.

Step 2: Tap ‘My Public Profile’ from your Snapchat profile.

Step 3: On the next screen, choose the Edit Profile button below your Bitmoji.

Step 4: In the Edit Profile screen, customize your profile with your details, such as updating your profile picture by tapping on your Bitmoji.

Save a Story or Spotlight to Your Snapchat Public Profile

Step 1: Open the Snapchat app and tap your Bitmoji in the top left corner to view your profile.

Step 2: Tap ‘My Public Profile.’

Step 3: Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner of your public profile.

Step 4: Under the Profile Settings screen, choose ‘Save a Story to Your Profile.’

Step 5: You have three options to choose from; you can either add from your older Snapchat posts, i.e., Post Archive, use Memories, or add from Camera Roll.

Step 6: Scroll through the images, select the ones you wish to keep in the Spotlight, and tap Next.

Step 7: On the Review screen, tap the Next button.

Share Your Public Profile on Snapchat

Step 1: Open Snapchat and go to your profile by tapping your Bitmoji in the top left corner.

Step 2: Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner and choose ‘Share Profile’ in the Profile Settings screen.

Step 3: Select ‘Share Profile URL’ from the bottom sheet.
