How to Use Instagram Reel Templates on iPhone and Android

Majority Reels on Instagram follow a particular template that includes a layout of images or videos. So if you have spotted your favorite piece of short-form content and want to create a Reel using templates on Instagram, here are the steps.

Step 1: Open Instagram on your iPhone or Android phone.

Step 2: Tap the Reels icon at the bottom.

Step 3: To use a Reel Template, tap on Use Template option above the account name.

You will see the template editor to help you create your reel using the same music track and transitions.

Step 4: Tap on Add Media.

Step 5: Select the photos or videos you want to place in the reel template and tap on the white arrow icon at the bottom-right corner.

Step 6: After you are satisfied with the your reel’s preview, tap on Next at the bottom-right corner.

Step 7: Place the text or stickers on the top of your reel template and tap on Next at the bottom-right corner.

Select Edit Video at the bottom-left corner and edit your reel before posting it.

Step 8: Tap on Share to post the reel on your profile.

You can also schedule your reel on Instagram if you want to post it later on your profile.

How to Find Reel Templates on Instagram

You may choose a Reel Template while scrolling your feed in the app, but that template is not trending enough on Instagram. However, an alternative method to find and use someone’s Reel Template that is trending on Instagram. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Open Instagram on your iPhone or Android phone.

Step 2: Tap the Reel icon at the bottom.

Step 3: Tap the Camera icon at the top-right corner.

Step 4: Tap on Templates at the bottom.

You will get all the options of Recommended and Trending Reel Templates. If you scroll down, you can also choose a Reel Template from the ones that you have saved.

Step 5: Tap on the Reel Template that you wish to use.

Step 6: Tap on Add Media to include all the photos or videos for the reel template.

Step 7: After the media files have been added, tap the arrow icon at the bottom-right corner to proceed.

Step 8: After checking the template, tap on Next at the bottom-right corner to proceed.

Step 9: After that, you can choose to edit your video. If not, tap on Next to proceed.

Step 10: Tap on Share to post your reel.

This process will save more time and get you all the trending Reel Templates at once.
