Sometimes when you watch a film or series containing background score and sound effects, the dialogue might become incomprehensible. You can enable subtitles on Amazon Prime Video to understand what the characters are saying. You can customize the subtitle color depending on your choice for better clarity.
You can solve this issue of missing the dialogue in important scenes. Thankfully, Amazon Prime Video brings a new AI-based feature called Dialogue Boost to enhance dialogue clarity. This post will show how to use the Dialogue Boost in Amazon Prime Video on desktop, mobile, web, and smart TV.
What Is Dialogue Boost
Though primarily targeted toward users who are hard of hearing, Dialogue Boost is a new accessibility feature that works in the background to enhance the audio clarity of dialogue in movies or TV shows. As per Amazon’s official blog post, the feature will intelligently identify points of dialogue that are hard to hear due to overpowering background music or sound effects. This especially applies to action movies or shows like Jack Ryan with action sequences.
Dialogue Boost is an AI to ensure enhanced spoken dialogue as opposed to the general amplification of the center channel in a home theatre setup. This feature is useful for any user who wants to enjoy the perfect immersive audio experience without losing clarity in dialogue. Dialogue Boost will do the trick so that you don’t need to struggle with subtitles. Do note that this feature will be mostly available for Amazon Original movies and shows like Jack Ryan, The Rings of Power, etc.
As of writing this post, this feature is available only for the content in English language.
