On Desktop

Step 1: Open LinkedIn in your preferred browser on your Windows or Mac computer.

Step 2: Go to the search bar, type the username, and select the user from the drop-down.

That’s it. If you didn’t find the date of birth, it might be because the user has decided to keep it private or only allowed certain people to see it.

On Mobile

The steps to view someone’s birthday on LinkedIn are the same on Android and iOS. For the sake of demonstrating, we are going with Android. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Launch the LinkedIn app and tap on the search bar at the top.

Step 2: Type the username you want to know the birthday details of and select the user from the drop-down.

Step 3: On the next screen, tap on ‘View full profile.’ You will be taken to the user profile. 

Step 4: Under the user profile, next to the message or follow button, tap on the three-dot icon, and from the bottom sheet, select Contact info.

There you go. Under the Birthday section, you will find the user’s birth date. You can tap on the birthday to copy it to share with someone else.

Step 1: Launch the LinkedIn app. Once launched, tap on your profile picture in the top left corner to open a sidebar.

Step 2: From the sidebar, select Settings. Under Settings, select Notifications. 

Step 3: Now, choose ‘Connecting with others,’ and on the next screen, tap on ‘Birthdays and job anniversaries.’

Step 4: Under ‘Birthdays and job anniversaries,’ toggle on your preferred way of getting notified.

Keep in mind that your birthday will only be visible to your connections and will not be displayed publicly on your profile. So, if you’re ready to add or change your birthday on LinkedIn, follow the steps below.
