How to Connect Two Amazon Echo Speakers for Stereo Sound

A smart speaker like an Amazon Echo device is a great way to control smart home devices and listen to music. You’ll need to ask Alexa to play your favorite tracks and the voice assistant will oblige. One of the main reasons why playing music on an Echo speaker is better than on a smartphone is that it’s louder and the quality of the speaker is much better.

If you’re having a party or even a small gathering, loud and clear music will help you elevate the overall atmosphere. While a single Echo speaker will also help you achieve this, what if we told you that you could pair two Echo speakers for stereo sound? A stereo speaker set up is any day better than just a single speaker when it comes to music. Here’s how you can connect two Amazon Echo speakers for stereo sound.

What Is the Advantage of a Stereo Pair

Connecting two Echo speakers in a stereo pair would mean that whenever you play a song, the sound output from both speakers instead of just one. So you’ll experience a louder sound and better stereo separation. A stereo speaker setup will sound better and more immersive if you’re in a large room.

Compatible Amazon Echo Speakers for Stereo Pairs

Before we get to how you can connect two Amazon Echo speakers to form a stereo pair, it’s important to note that not all Echo devices are supported. You cannot pair two Echo speakers of different kinds unless they’re officially supported. For example, you cannot pair an Echo Dot with an Echo Plus or an Echo Show with an Echo Studio.
