6 Best Ways to Fix Microsoft Outlook Failed to Delete a Message Error

On Microsoft Outlook, most actions can be performed by either checking the Ribbon or pressing a simple keyboard shortcut. For example, to delete a message on Outlook, select the message and hitthe delete key on your keyboard. While you’re proficient with these things, it’s quite possible the Outlook still might throw an error.

Clear Deleted Items

One reason why Microsoft Outlook displays an error message when trying to delete an item might be due to the Deleted Items Folder being full. When the Deleted Items folder is full, you can’t delete Outlook messages.

Here’s how it works:
