On a single charge, the 300mAh battery in this keyboard can see you through a month. But, of course, a lot will depend on your use. Pairing the keyboard is simple and easy, and several users have pointed this out in their reviews.
While the Macally keypad lets you add numbers and go about your Excel (or Google Sheets) job with ease, a few users have pointed out that it tends to repeat numbers at times.
3. HoRiMe Bluetooth Numeric Keypad
Another numeric keypad for Apple MacBooks is the one by HoRiMe. Unlike the one above, it lets you type with ease without worrying about missing or repeating keystrokes. It is a huge plus, especially if you work in the finance sector. It’s a wireless keyboard and comes with a rechargeable battery, and you can recharge it via a USB-C cable.
The keys are responsive and do not make much sound while typing. While it comes with shortcut keys and arrow keys (apart from the number keys), the shortcut keys are not compatible with macOS. Now, that’s a bummer.
Pairing this keypad is easy and simple. It comes with a LED indicator to indicate the pairing status. Plus, waking it up from sleep is instantaneous. However, the battery life is not its strongest suit. Thankfully, it’s quick to recharge.

The Lekvey keypad is perhaps one of the most popular peripherals for MacBook users. It resembles the HoRiMe in terms of looks. However, this one has a longer battery life, and this feature has earned positive reviews from its user base.
Other than that, the Lekvey keypad sports an aluminum look and resembles the MacBook keyboard a great deal. The only issue is that the color is not an exact match.
Nevertheless, it has a solid performance and works as advertised. The keys are silent and give off tactile feedback when pressed. However, like the one above, some of the shortcut keys do not work on macOS systems. The good news is that one of the users has reported that passing the Search key does open the search bar on Mac.
