Five years after the success of The LEGO Movie, the makers are back with a sequel aptly named The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Emmet Brickowski and Batman, the ever-popular DC Comics superhero, join forces to save Bricksburg.
Right from the secretive space invader to the hair-raising fight sequences the sequel to the LEGO movie does look like a mind-boggling action-packed adventure. Not to forget the introduction of cool new characters.
The LEGO Movie 2 will take place five years after the events of its predecessor. In this one, we will see Bricksburg turned into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. That’s the opening scene of the first trailer.
So, if you are someone who gets excited by the slightest mention of LEGO characters, we have put together some of the coolest LEGO Movie 2 wallpapers in HD. Enjoy!Note
1. Major Mayhem
A confused Batman and Lucy, and the mysterious spaceman behind the wheels; this wallpaper captures the confusion laid out in the movie brilliantly in a single frame.
2. Everything is Awesome!
Were you aware that the ultra-upbeat “Everything is Awesome” track from the first LEGO movie is an Oscar-nominated track? Aside from being an action-packed adventure, the LEGO Movie 2 is also a musical. Yep, you read that right.
3. The Dark Knight
Ben Affleck’s Batman may be the most serious man in Gotham City, but in the LEGO world, it seems that the Batman is the face of cute justice (wait, am I allowed to say that?). On second thoughts, aren’t all LEGO movies supposed to be super adorable?
4. Make a Wish
If you are bored with the current look of your home screen, you can give this orange-themed wallpaper a shot. Orange color represents warmth and excitement. So, if you are looking to have a bright wallpaper on your PC, this is the one for you.
5. The Caped Crusader
I am sure you’d love this wallpaper in Batman’s signature color of black and yellow. You can have all the desktop icons on the left without overlapping the central character.
The mysterious space invader is none other than General Sweet Mayhem from the Systar System. Yes, that tiny (and adorable) character is a mighty general.
General Mayhem has one goal — to take over the Legoverse. It seems that the General has taken inspiration from Thanos.
6. Is Everything Still Awesome?
On their space adventure, Emmett also meets Rex Dangervest, the know-it-all galaxy-defending archaeologist, cowboy, and Raptor trainer. As you may have guessed, the character is a spoof of Peter Quill (Guardians of the Galaxy), Owen Grady (Jurassic World) and Joshua Faraday (The Magnificent Seven) — all the notable characters that Chris Pratt has played in the past.
7. Legoverse’s Mightiest
Apart from Batman, this movie will also star Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and the Green Lantern. After 2017’s The LEGO Batman, it would be interesting to see how the makers have managed to blend all the characters into the storyline.
This image is for you if you love to have miniature versions of your favorite superheroes as your PC background.
8. A Recall
It would be a shame to go on and on about this movie, and not mention the one that lit the fire. This image has the perfect combination of Blue and Yellow, the colors that stand for a calm and happy mind.
9. Sagas Of Shadows and Darkness
Did you know that decals are laid over the LEGO figurines to get the facial expressions? From the CGI point of view, it’s a difficult task because the characters are always in motion.
The objective is to depict that the real figurines have come to life. Strange are the practices of the movie makers.
Block the Date
What are the things that you look for when you download a movie wallpaper? Is it the color, the characters, or the stunning vistas that are too beautiful to be ignored? The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part hits the screens on 8 February in the US.
So, which one of these will you be your next wallpaper? We will be waiting to hear from you in the comments below.
