The Google Pixel 7a caters to camera enthusiasts who don’t want to spend big bucks on a flagship. It also offers a well-rounded package in a compact form factor. As such, you wouldn’t want to add any bulk to the phone’s otherwise svelte chassis with a thick case. On the flip side, you would want to safeguard your investment too. A good middle ground is to get a slim case for your Google Pixel 7a.
While a slim case may not offer adequate protection against drops, it prevents the sides and the polycarbonate back of the phone from picking up scratches. It can also aid in gripping the phone better. And, as luck would have it, we’ve come up with a list of the best thin cases for the Pixel 7a.

Let’s get to some slim cases for the Pixel 7a now.
1. DiMik Slim Matte Case
The DiMik ultra-thin case is a great option to consider if you’re looking for a case with basic protection that adds minimum heft to the phone. The unit’s plain black exterior will not go unappreciated by users who like minimalistic and sober cases either. And, seeing how the Pixel 7a has a glossy back, the case should keep fingerprint stains and smudges at bay too.
While you do get basic protection from drops, the DiMik case is primarily designed to keep scratches at bay. It does offer a lip on the front to protect the screen, which is a nice touch. The camera module on the rear is completely covered too, which is great.
2. Oakxco Soft Silicone Case
The new Coral colorway on the Pixel 7a looks fantastic. However, everyone may not be a fan of such a bright color on their smartphone. But if you want your phone to stand out in some scenarios, you can still get a bright case since you can swap it out depending on the situation. And, as prefaced previously, the Oakxco Soft Silicone case is available in a few interesting, eye-catchy colorways.
As for the case itself, it offers a soft rubbery feel which is nice to hold. What’s more, you get a fair bit of protection with the Oakxco case, courtesy of the shock-absorbing property of silicone. If anything, the case’s rubberized finish sticks to fabrics, so it will be slightly difficult to get the Pixel 7a in and out of your pockets.
3. Ringke Fusion Clear Case
The back of the Ringke Fusion case is made of hard polycarbonate. Consequently, you get better protection for the rear of your phone. What’s more, the bits made out of polycarbonate will not turn yellow with time. However, the sides of the case – which utilize TPU for their construction – will turn yellow sooner or later.
On the upside, the back of your phone will be clearly visible in its original color at all times. Add to that, the Ringke Fusion offers better protection than most other slim cases. So, the case will serve you well if you drop your phone occasionally.
4. Spigen Liquid Air
If you want the perfect balance of thickness and protection, you should go with the Spigen Liquid Air case for the Pixel 7a. It protects your phone without adding unnecessary bulk. The case adds a meaty lip on the front to better protect the display as well.
Another noteworthy feature of the Spigen Liquid Air is the beautiful Herringbone pattern at the back. Not only does it make the case look better but it also adds a substantial amount of grip when holding the phone. Suffice it to say, the Spigen Liquid Air is easily one of the best cases you can get for the Pixel 7a.
5. Spigen Thin Fit
There’s a thin layer of TPU at the bottom of the case which wraps around the phone. A layer of polycarbonate is added on top for extra rigidity. Understandably, the case employs different materials for its construction than the Spigen Liquid Air case, which is made entirely out of TPU. The polycarbonate layer allows Spigen to shave off a few extra millimeters from its Thin Fit case.
Needless to say, you don’t get as much cushioning with the Spigen Thin Fit case. However, it fits the bill of a slim case perfectly. Do note that the back of the case is slightly slippery, so we’d recommend against using it if your hands sweat profusely.
6. Torras Translucent Case with MagSafe
Clear cases are well-liked as they allow users to show off the back of their phone. That said, they tend to turn yellow and pick up scuffs after some time has elapsed. Thankfully, Torras has a solution. To wit, the company’s case has a translucent back. So, it can show off the back of your phone without yellowing. The sides are made of a colored TPU material too, so they won’t turn yellow either. And, while it’s not the thinnest case out there, it’s far from bulky as well.
As mentioned already, the Torras case comes with MagSafe smarts. Consequently, you can use MagSafe accessories like power banks, wallets, or even charging stations with your Pixel 7a. This feature alone is one of the biggest reasons to get the Torras case for your Pixel 7a.
Protection Without Bulk
These were some of the best slim cases for the Google Pixel 7a. As you have seen, you don’t always have to make your phone heavier by adding a thick case. If you’re enchanted by the Pixel 7a’s compact form factor, then it makes sense to get a thin case for the device. This way, you can add a decent amount of protection while still being able to use the phone with one hand.
