How to Download All Your +1s From Google+ As Bookmark Links

These days it’s a facet of social networking sites that you can use them as bookmarking tools. Be it Facebook or Google Plus, our likes (and +’s) are captured and hopefully stored for eternity. A biggie as it is, Google isn’t going to fold anytime soon. But you never know when one service may get discontinued.

Even if you are not paranoid, it pays to keep a backup of your digital information handy. Google+ enables you to download all your +1s from Google as bookmark links. This little guide shows you just how.

1. Log-in to your Google+ account. Go into your account settings from the dropdown just next to your thumbnail photo on the top-right.

4. All that’s left for you to do is to click on Choose services and click on +1s to download all your preferences as a bookmarks file. The page also shows you the size of your +1 archive and the number of files present. Usually, the file size is 1 because all the data will be in zip format. Click on the Download button and confirm your password again to download the ZIP file.
