Microsoft Edge Comes to Android and iOS

Microsoft has launched their replacement web browser to the obsolete Internet Explorer – Microsoft Edge – for Android and iOS users.

To make it easier for Microsoft Edge users to synchronize their browsing, while they’re on PC, to on the phone and vice-versa, the company is now rolling out re-invented Microsoft browser for iOS and Android and have also launched a Microsoft launcher for Android.

“Don’t you wish your phone could magically send that task to your Windows 10 PC where you could luxuriate in a big screen and hardware keyboard? We are excited to continue the work to make Windows 10 PCs work great with your phone,” reads Microsoft’s blog post.

Microsoft is continuing its effort to make Windows PC work better with Android and iOS smartphones, and have designed the Microsoft Edge and Launcher towards that end.

The sync between the devices running Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Launcher will only begin after the release of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on October 17, 2017.

Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android brings features like Favorites, Reading List, New Tab Page and Reading View across your PC and phone. So, no matter the device, your browsing goes along with you without any effort.

But what makes Microsoft Edge really stand out is the ability to continue on your PC, which enables you to immediately open the page you’re looking at right on your PC — or save it to work on later.
