Globally unveiled earlier this year, Nokia 8 — HMD Global’s most powerful device in the Android-powered Nokia lineup — is being launched at an event in New Delhi, India later today. We’ll be covering the event too but for now, here are a few things you should know about the device before its official unveiling.
The flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest offering – Snapdragon 835 processor. The brand has kept the bigger bezels and capacitive buttons in spite of the industry-wide trend of thin bezels on flagship devices.
After its sad demise at the hands Microsoft, the HMD Global reprised the Nokia brand and its three new variants — Nokia 3, 5, and 6 — running on the Android OS. These were launched globally. Now, the company is launching a high-end device.
