5 Things to Know About Micromax Selfie 3 Launched at Rs 11,999


Selfies are a rage these days, and like any other smartphone manufacturer, Micromax is looking to capitalize on the fad. Towards that end, they’ve launched the Micromax Selfie 3 smartphone for Rs 11,999 in India and will be available for purchase in retail stores September 22 onwards.

This marks the company’s third phone launch in September 2017, after Bharat 4 and Bharat 3 devices launched at the sub-Rs 5,000 price segment.

Selfie-centric, as well as dual-camera phones, are all the rage these days and Micromax seems to have given into the temptation of catering to the latest demands of mobile phone users as this device launch also marks the second device under the ‘Micromax Selfie’ moniker to be released this year.

The Micromax Selfie 3 sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with Samsung sensors, a dedicated flash and face beauty modes. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel snapper with Sony sensors.

  • Display: The Micromax Selfie 3 features a 5-inch Full HD display
  • Processor: The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset which clocks at speeds up to 1.4GHz and is supported by Adreno 505 GPU
  • Camera: The Micromax Selfie 3 sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper with flash
  • Memory and Storage: It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory
  • Battery and OS: The Micromax Selfie 3 is backed by a 3000mAh battery pack and runs on Android 7 Nougat

The Micromax Selfie 3 also gets Bluetooth 4.2 which facilitates multiple connections at once and sports a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.
