Xiaomi Mi Max 2 32GB Variant Launching on Wednesday: Price and Specs

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 device, sporting a bigger battery pack than its predecessor as well as performance tweaks, was launched in India earlier this year in July with 64GB internal storage and now the device is also being launched with 32GB internal storage at a lower price.

The Mi Max 2 with 64GB internal storage retailed at a price of Rs 16,999 at the time of the launch and the new variant with 32GB internal storage will retail at a price of Rs 14,999.

The Mi Max 2 is going on sale at an introductory price of Rs 12,999 at the time of launch.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2: Key Specs and Features

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is retailing at Rs 16,999 in India
  • Processor: The Mix Max 2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor, which is based on the new 14nm technology. The 64-bit octa-core processor clocks at 2GHz and is supported by Adreno 506 GPU.
  • Display: It borrows the same 6.44-inch large display from its predecessor with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 but the company claims a reduction in bezels surrounding the display.
  • Camera: The Mi Max 2 sports a 12MP primary (rear) camera unit with a Sony IMX386 sensor and a 5MP front-camera.
  • Battery: The Mi Max 2 is backed by a ginormous 5300mAh battery pack which claims to last for two days on a single charge.
  • QuickCharge: The device is equipped with QuickCharge 3.0 tech along with parallel charging that helps the battery charge up to 68% in an hour.
  • Memory and Storage: The device comes in two variants with 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage and newly launched 4GB RAM/3GB internal storage.
  • Design: The Mi Max 2 gets a unibody design and also features a stereo sound setup.
  • OS: It will run on MIUI 8 on top of Android Nougat.
