Micromax has added some fierce competition to the budget VoLTE smartphone market. It has announced the launch of two new sub-Rs 5,000 phones that offer some good features for the price.

Dubbed as Bharat 3 and Bharat 4, both devices come with India-centric features targeted at tier-2 and tier-3 cities. As a key feature, both the devices offer support for 22 Indian languages.

Bharat 3 and Bharat 4

Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 have been announced for the Indian market and will be available for Rs 4,499 and Rs 4,999, respectively.

While the price point has been kept really low, Micromax has not shied away from offering some powerful hardware on these devices, strictly for the price. Both devices come powered with a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M chipset complemented with 1GB of RAM.

Additionally, as one of the major features, both the devices come preloaded with Android Nougat 7.0, which is more than welcome. In terms of connectivity, along with other regular features, both the devices also get VoLTE sim support. With this, users can make use of the value-added services offered by the likes of Jio and Airtel in severaIndianan cities.

Last but not the least, there are dual cameras with a 5-megapixel front as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera setup, supported by LED flash for better low-light performance.
