Apple iPhones have been due for a makeover for a long time now. Since Apple came up with its present look with the iPhone 6, it has launched the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus in the span of three years.

All the phones mentioned above share the same basic look with only a minor change in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The antenna lines on the iPhone 7 series look a bit different than its predecessors.

All this is about to change as Apple is set to launch its anniversary edition, the iPhone X, according to the last minute Golden Master leak that seemed to confirm the name as well as some of the key new features.

There have been numerous prototypes made by various people from all around the globe that envision what the leaks reveal. Apart from this, the other sources that happen to make the proposed designs more credible are the images of the cases, skins, and covers that have emerged.

The radical redesigning includes the Edge-to-Edge OLED display, which will see the Home button with the Touch ID removed. This will be the first Apple device to sport an OLED display.

The OLED screen will leave a tiny strip of area on top of the screen to house the front camera, proximity sensors, and the IR camera. This camera will be used to run the Face ID software that is going to replace the Touch ID.

The side panel (not sure which one yet) is set to get a dedicated button to launch Siri much like Samsung’s Bixby button.

Apple is rearranging the position of the dual rear cameras from its last editions. The camera module has been set vertically with the flash sitting neatly between the two lenses. Though there were rumors that Apple might relocate the Touch ID to the back of the phones, it seems highly unlikely considering the leaks and prototypes we have followed.
