The interface is simple and does not involve ads. The app can open, create and even scan different types of documents, including spreadsheets, presentations, word files, and PDFs. It also lets you create memos to set important reminders.

OfficeSuite comes in 68 languages and also provides 15GB of cloud space. You can also edit and sign PDF documents and convert text to PDF. However, the pop-up ads are a bit disturbing.

3. Polaris Office

Only 50MB in size, Polaris Office is fully compatible with all file formats, including DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX, TXT, HWP, ODT, and PDF. It also has an interface that supports swift sharing of files among co-workers.

Available only on Play Store, this app also sports a feature where you can draw or write with your fingertips on the screen. It also allows you to view PDF files and add comments on them but does not let you edit or sign them.

4. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

The veteran of office applications, Microsoft Office has long introduced its mobile variant. Word, Excel and PowerPoint have been optimized to fit the small screen of your phone, as claimed by the tech giant. However, you have to download and install these apps separately from the Play Store to use them.

Although it does not allow much flexibility with scanning documents or editing PDFs, it does come with the very familiar and easy-to-use interface that lets you immediately start creating new documents or edit old ones.

The mobile suite also incorporates Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud space and requires you to login with your Microsoft account

5. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and PDF Viewer

Similar to the Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, Google Docs also requires you to download different apps to edit doc files, excel sheets, PowerPoint slides and PDFs.

Google

Once you have all the apps on your phone, you can easily manage your official documents and save them on Google Drive. Because of its easy connectivity, this app is a favorite among office-goers.

The Best of the Lot …

All the above apps are packed with great features and all of them have their own little pros and cons. On one hand you get reliability and simple design from Microsoft and Google, while the others come in small packages and offer a array of features on the other.

However, in our opinion, OfficeSuite should be your first pick as an easy-to-use, dependable mobile office suite as it supports all types of documents, offers the most varied range of features and allows the user to scan and edit PDFs without any hassle. Though we must say that WPS Office does come a close second.
