Asus is Launching ZenFone 4 Selfie Lineup on September 14 in India

Asus ZenFone 4 which was launched globally in six different variants — all of which sport a dual-camera setup — is holding a launch event in New Delhi in India on September 14, 2017 but they won’t be launching all the variants but only the two with a dual-selfie camera.

Trusted company sources have confirmed to Guiding Tech that Asus will not unveil its entire range of ZenFone 4 devices in India on September 14 but just Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie and Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro devices.

The entire range of the globally unveiled Asus devices includes the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, ZenFone 4 Max and ZenFone 4 Max Pro.

While the first two devices in the list are the primary devices that the company is looking to market as their flagship, the next two devices are selfie-centric with a dual-camera on the front and the last two are Asus’ budget offering with dual-camera on the rear.

Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Specs

  • Display: The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie will feature a 5.5-inch HD IPS (1,280×720 pixels)
  • Processor: The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset
  • Camera: The ZenFone 4 Selfie sports with a 20MP and 8MP wide angle dual-lens camera on the front and a 16MP camera on the rear.
  • Memory and Storage: 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage
  • Battery: The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery unit

Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro Specs

  • Display: The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED (1,920×1,020 pixels)
  • Processor: The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset
  • Camera: The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro sports with a 24MP and 5MP wide angle dual-lens camera on the front and a 16MP camera on the rear.
  • Memory and Storage: 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage
  • Battery: The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery unit

The devices were launched with these specs at the global launch event and they might differ a bit when launched in India — specifically the processor, memory, and storage.
