After its sad demise at the hands Microsoft, the Nokia brand was reprised by HMD Global and three new variants — Nokia 3, 5 and 6 — running on the Android operating system were launched globally. And now the company has unveiled a high-end device for its mid-range offering.
The Nokia 8 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest offering, the Snapdragon 835 processor. But Nokia has kept the bigger bezels and capacitive buttons inspite of the industry-wide trend of thin bezels on flagship devices.
According to CarPhone Warehouse, the Nokia 8 will be available in UK starting September 13. The retailer has already started taking pre-orders and an unlocked version of the latest Nokia at is available for £499.
Those who pre-order will also get a Nokia Steel smartwatch worth £119 for free.
Users can also buy the Nokia 8 alongwith tariffs with EE, O2 and Vodafone. With a £39.99 down payment and a £30 per month contract, the Nokia 8 can be yours.
What’s more? Users will also receive 1GB data and a free smart watch alongwith the purchase.
