Nokia’s second coming with Android devices has been quite successful as compared to the Windows Phone counterpart. Now taking things forward Nokia is working had to bring Android Oreo to all its smartphones globally.

Unlike bigger brands like Samsung, Sony, and HTC, Nokia’s software upgrades are not just limited to high-end devices such as the Nokia * and Nokia 6. Nokia has promised timely updates to all its Android smartphones and that also includes Nokia 3, the smallest member of the Nokia Family.

As reported, HMD Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas has confirmed that “all of our smartphones” will be upgraded to the latest version of Android, which is Oreo 8.0.

While the company has confirmed that the updates will be provided, they did not reveal as to when these updates will be made available in different parts of the world.

7 Incredible Nokia 8 Features That You Should Know

Nokia has to be credited with the timely roll-out of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Especially considering the fact that the company has recently joined the Android bandwagon.

But with Android 8.0 Oreo, things might change a bit.. Especially considering the fact that the Nokia 3 barely has enough hardware to meet the criteria for Oreo 8.0.

What’s Expect With Android Oreo 8.0

While most features including auto-fill optimised background processes and new emoji’s will feature on most devices, resource hungry features such and PIP or picture-in-picture for apps might not work on some devices. But all that is just a speculation as of now, global users can expect a detailed schedule form Nokia in the coming days.

Most global brands including Google, Samsung, and HTC have been quick on announcing the Android 8.0 Oreo update, mostly for their high-end devices. With Nokia promising its update for all their devices, goes a big way in promising users, what they mean to the brand.
