4 New Things Oxy­gen OS Update 4.5.10 Brings to One­Plus 5


OnePlus has started rolling out the latest software update for its flagship OnePlus 5 device, the Oxygen OS 4.5.10, which includes fixes for the camera, touchscreen, Jio call functionality, WiFi and more.

Earlier this month, the OnePlus 5 received important camera features, Android’s July security patches, connectivity improvements, battery enhancements and a few more fixes.

The update is currently being rolled out and has already hit a few areas and the remaining ones can expect to receive the update in the next few days.

3 Camera Improvements

  • Fixes have been applied to reduce the photo noise
  • The camera stability has been improved
  • Noise and texture on 60fps video recordings have been improved

Country information of photographers has been added to the Shot feature of OnePlus 5’s camera app.

Fixed Touchscreen Issues

  • The company has fixed the issue which caused the touchscreen to behave weirdly — resulting in accidental touches — after a call has ended
  • The Display issue on the calling screen has also been fixed

System Fixes

  • WiFi stability issues on the OnePlus 5 have been fixed
  • Clarity issue while recording videos on SnapShot app has been fixed
  • The company has also fixed the display issue faced by new fonts
  • Scrolling issue while using the Play Music app has also been fixed
  • Call functionality for Jio sim users has been improved

The OxygenOS 4.5.10 update is worth 85MB and brings several important fixes to the device overall. Note that the update we procured was via a VPN service and the India-specific update might differ in size.
