IFA 2017: 10 Things to Expect This Year

IFA Berlin is one of the biggest international events and a showcase of cutting edge technology.  Year on year brands from all across the globe join hands to give a glimpse of gadgets that will pave the way for coming years. While all that is not a surprise, there are certain surprises that we are expecting from the show this year.

Here we have listed down 10 gadgets that we expect from IFA 2017.

Asus at IFA

Asus ZenFone has always been a no-fuss Android smartphone. This year the ZenFone 4 is not a surprise since the brand has sent out official invites, but the phone will definitely be. The dual camera setup is one good thing to look forward to while there is also a talk about a new ZenWatch as well.

Sony At IFA

After the Xperia XZ1 and the XZ1 compact, Sony is looking forward to a brand new flagship. While details are scarce, the phone is reported to ditch a bezel less design, which has become a standard nowadays.

Samsung at IFA

While Samsung’s dark horse, the Galaxy Note8 is out, the brand will be looking at launching something big. The speculations are pointing towards a new wearable, which might have some smart features up its sleeve.

Philips at IFA

There have been smart tooth brushes, but with the Sonicare, Philips is taking a new look at oral hygiene. This smart toothbrush along with a very nifty app can even tell which part of your mouth needs more attention than the other. Go brush it out now.

Acer at IFA

At CES 2017, Acer unveiled its behemoth gaming notebook, the predator 21. Now with IFA 2017 around the corner, there are rumors that Acer is planning to revamp its best gaming notebook and adding more muscle to it. Most likely the new computer will feature the new Intel Core i9  along with all the bells and whistles.

LG at IFA

Although the LG V20 was not such a big hit overall. For audiophiles, the V20 was something worth looking up to. Now with the V30 LG is aiming at upping its audio game with a more powerful quality audio centric smartphone. Loaded with a quad channel DAC, the LG V30 is likely to be the best phone, audio wise.

Fitbit at IFA

Until now, Fitbit had some great fitness bands to its name. But with the Ionic, the company has made a very potent solution for smartwatch owners as well. This smartwatch comes with some serious fitness and health tracking features and works great as a smartwatch.

HTC at IFA

Since a long time, HTC has been talking about a brand new Vive device. By giving up on wires and additional bulk, HTC is aiming to offer a more comfortable and gamer savvy VR system with the HTC Vive 2. So this IFA 2017, we are hopeful to catch a glimpse of the new Vive in all its glory.

Motorola at IFA

While there are several new gadgets expected from the house of Motorola, the Moto X4 is something, in particular, to look forward to. The Moto X4 features one of the best dual cameras, well that’s what the leaks have suggested. Along with that Motorola is looking at souping up the device with some brilliant build quality making it a must watch for IFA 2017.

Huawei at IFA

Apart from being a phablet, the Mate 10 from Huawei will definitely be something to look out for at IFA 2017. The successor to the Huawei Mate 9 will offer some seriously powerful hardware and there are talks about the company offering some unique features including a nearly bezel-less design as well.
