The Nokia 6 is retailing at a price of Rs 14,999 exclusively on Amazon India at 12pm (IST).
Before its sad demise, Nokia was a household name in India and was considered by far the best mobile phone company by the citizenry — owing to its sturdy built and amazing battery life.
“We’re not into the Gigahertz or Megapixel race; we’re more of a reliable brand,” and the Indian audience might as well treat this as the homecoming of their favorite mobile brand from yesteryears,” said Pekka Rantala, Chief Marketing Office of HMD.
And it sure seems like the crowd in India has taken well to Nokia’s homecoming as the registrations have crossed the million mark.
The new Nokia 6 is available with a special offer – Prime members get Rs. 1000 back when they purchase the device using Amazon Pay balance and all Nokia 6 customers get 80% off on Kindle eBooks up to Rs.300.
Also on the new Nokia 6, using a single sign-on to pre-installed Amazon apps and deals widget, consumers get easy access to their personalized deals, content, order history, wish list, and shipment update.
In addition, Vodafone consumers will get 10GB data per month at Rs. 249 per month for 5 months on their Nokia 6. Consumers will also get Rs. 2500 off (Rs. 1800 on hotels and Rs.700 off on domestic flights) on Makemytrip.com
