Earlier this week LG confirmed some camera and display information about its upcoming V series device, and now ahead of its launch later this month in Berlin, the LG V30’s official press renders have been leaked.
According to the leaked images by Evan Blass, the device features thin top and bottom bezels on the front and sports a dual-lens camera at the back with the fingerprint sensor placed a bit below the camera unit.
The LG V30 is scheduled to be unveiled in Berlin on August 31 and will also sport a ‘Floating Bar’ that will display information about the most used applications on the screen. The Floating Bar can be accessed via the small icon on the side of the screen.
The smartphone will continuously display key information on the screen by using a minimum amount of power, helping users activate Bluetooth, WiFi, the camera, and light.
LG also mentioned that the V30 will have camera lens improvements over its predecessor as the new device comes with an F1.6 lens, which will be 25 per cent brighter than the F1.8 lens adopted by the LG V20.
The lower aperture value means that the camera will work better in low light conditions as well as produce vivid images and videos in normal conditions.
The tech giant added that it adopted the “Crystal Clear Lens” for the rear camera to provide users with optimised colour. This glass-based material is usually used in high-end DSLR cameras and will give the V30’s camera an upper-hand when compared to devices that use a plastic-based lens.

Display: The LG V30 is tipped to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD (18:9) Full Vision display.
Processor: The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor which clocks at 2.45GHz and is supported by Adreno 540 GPU.
Memory and Storage: The LG V30 will feature 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage variants.
Camera: The device might sport a dual-lens 13MP + 13MP camera on the rear and a 16MP selfie snapper.
Battery: The V30 will be backed by a 3200mAh battery unit with USB Type-C fast charging port.
