Panasonic Launches Eluga A3, A3 Pro in India: Price and Key Features

Adding to its range of Android-powered smartphones offered in India, Japanese electronic company Panasonic launched the Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro at an event in Gurgaon on Wednesday.

The Eluga A3 will retail for a price of Rs 11,290 and Eluga A3 Pro will retail for a price of Rs 12,790. Both the devices are equipped by Panasonic’s in-house virtual assistant ‘Arbo’.

Both the devices will go on sale on Thursday, August 10, and will be available at Panasonic-branded and other mobile retail outlets.

“We believe our in-house developed artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual assistant ‘Arbo’ will be a differentiator. Customers will continue to look for the technology which will shape the product interface and the way we interact with our smartphones,” Manish Sharma, President & CEO, Panasonic India & South Asia.

Panasonic Eluga A3 Specifications

  • Display: The Eluga A3 features a 5.2-inch HD display protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass.
  • Processor: The device is powered by 1.25GHz MTK 6737 Quad-core chipset.
  • Memory and Storage: The Panasonic Eluga A3 comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable by 128 via a microSD card.
  • Camera: The device sports a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
  • Battery and OS: The Eluga A3 is backed by a 4000mAh battery unit and runs on Android Nougat 7.0.

  • Display: The Eluga A3 Pro features a 5.2-inch HD display protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass
  • Processor: The device is powered by 1.3GHz, MTK6753 Octa-core processor.
  • Memory and Storage: The Panasonic Eluga A3 Pro comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable by 128 via a microSD card.
  • Camera: The device sports a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
  • Battery and OS: The Eluga A3 is backed by a 4000mAh battery unit and runs on Android Nougat 7.0.

Both the devices are 4G VoLTE enabled and have the fingerprint sensor located on the front panel.

“With the new improved features and enhanced quality the user will be able to do so much more. The smartphones come in three colours — Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey which define and complement consumer’s style quotient,” added Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.
